A dust mop is different than your typical wet mop. It has a different cleaning purpose and it can be used in
conjunction with a normal mop to clean your floors. Dry mops are commonly
used in indoor sporting facilities like a basketball and racquetball courts. They have a very wide coverage area and are excellent at picking up and trapping dust.
Not everyone has use of such a large tool. Fortunately, they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. You can buy smaller mops that will fit your needs just right. You may wonder why
you want one of these mops. We will tell you why.
These mops are made to be used on non carpeted surfaces such as hardwood floors, tile floors, laminate floorings, and so on. You can quickly run the mop over the surface and pick
up any dirt, debris, lint, or other unwanted objects on the surface of your floor.
These are faster and more efficient than a broom. You can clean faster and with less effort. Try one out today. We've have posted reviews of a couple good ones below.
A Great Professional Partner
Starfiber Starpro Microfiber Mop and Microfiber Pad Kit - I love this mop. It
doesn't take me all day to get a clean floor with this mop. That is because it is a professional mop. You can even eat off of the floor after cleaning with this mop. I stepped out of my house slippers and walked over the floor in my bare feet and the floor felt great. I will never buy another mop from my hardware or grocery store again unless it is a professional one. The only draw back is that it has a very long handle but that is minor, to me, because it does a wonderful job otherwise.
Dust Mop
Treated Dust Mop - This is an excellent Dust Mop, I have new laminate floors and the floor cleaner that they provide with the floor has a lot to be desired. This Is an excellent and fast cleaner for floors to pick up dust.
Handy Dry Dust Mop for Hardwood Floors
MOP, DUST SWIVEL FLEX - After our old Quickie dry dust mop finally broke (lasted many, many years), I ordered this one and am very happy with it. It sheds a lot of those little "strings" at first, but works well at cleaning dust bunnies off our hardwood floors between
moppings. Note that this is meant to be used dry, then shaken out, although the mop part can be taken off and thrown in the wash (I would put it in a netted bag for washing it though). Helpful housecleaning item!
