All of you have seen the infomercial about the smart mop. Infomercials are good at making all the products look super amazing!
But, we know the deal, half the time its completely false, the other half of
the time, the product isn't as good as advertised. So, how does this mop hold up?
To answer that question in a a few words, it is a decent product. It's not as amazing as it looks on the infomercial (surprise). Although it's not as good as they advertise,
it can still be a decent investment, depending on what you want.
Advantages of smart mop
Ok, so we'll start off with the good things about this mop. You don't have to sweep your floor before you mop! That is a huge timesaver. You can simply get the mop wet, wring it out, and
start cleaning your floor. It will pick up dirt, debris, and all sorts of stuff that will be on your floor.
The mop head is machine washable. So you can just detach it, stick it in the washing machine, and you're all set to clean another day. The last advantage of this mop is the ability to
wring out the mop without bending over.
Disadvantages
It's not as amazing as the infomercial makes it out to be. It can't hold up to 20 (as the infomercial states), or even 10 (as the box states) times it's own weight in liquid. It's
a simple mop. You might be paying a heftier price too if you buy this one.
Overall, the product isn't terrible. It's just not as great as they say. We found a video on Youtube where the product is put through the same
tests as the infomercial, with slightly different results.
